But that hasn't stopped her from becoming a star, no matter what. Instead, Demaiter chose to become a model, and she is now a huge success.
The former goalie has gained a lot of fans over the years. She has 1.9 million fans on Instagram and the same number on TikTok.
In her most recent Instagram post, which has over 150,000 likes and 3,000 comments, Demaiter shows off one of what she calls her "many talents."
"I'm a woman with many skills, and one of them is making it look easy to walk uphill in heels," the text says.
It's possible that Demaiter's life hasn't gone exactly as planned up to this point. But it's safe to say that she's doing pretty well with Plan B, which is modeling.
