Gardner attended the NFL Draft in Kansas City on Thursday and discussed Gang Green's new quarterback on NFL Network.

Gardner answered NFL Network analyst Charles Davis' Rodgers question on "Draft Kickoff Live."Gardner, 2022 NFL Defensive Rookie of the Year, said, “A-Rod's just gonna get us better everyday in practice.

Last year, game-planning against him was tricky. "You never know who he's gonna throw the ball to on third down, you know, it was pretty hard," said the second-year pro.

The Jets defeated the Packers 27-10 at Lambeau Field in Week 6 behind a smothering defense.

Gardner had three solo tackles and three pass defenses to help restrict Rodgers to 5.6 yards per throw. The Jets' CB1 wore a cheesehead in front of the Green Bay fans to celebrate the victory.

Davis inquired about the keepsake on "Draft Kickoff Live." Gardner stated he burnt it in his backyard.

Gardner, a Cincinnati star, was the fourth pick in the 2022 NFL Draft in Las Vegas. The rookie quarterback played well against Stefon Diggs and Tyreek Hill. 75 stops, two interceptions, and 20 passes defended.
